JULY 29, 2010 — SOMERSET, WI JULY 29, 2010 | K-Sun Corporation, a leader in labeling systems, label printers, safety sign/labeling software and supplies located in Somerset, Wis., announces that Andrew Kasun has joined the company as Distribution Manager.
A 1997 graduate of Stillwater (Minn.) High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Kasun also attended the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado Springs.
Most recently Kasun was the on-site project manager for a U.S. tooling manufacturer at a Japanese automotive parts company near Cincinnati. He has also worked in sales and project management for a Swedish tool manufacturing company serving Japanese automotive accounts. In Japan, he taught English for a private company and Japan’s public school system.
"In my new role I will be working to open channels in new distributor markets as well as with our existing distribution network to grow sales and strengthen relationships," says Kasun. "I’ll be using my knowledge of manufacturing processes to help our distributors communicate the best practices and uses of our labeling systems and safety software in their end-user environments."
Kasun is the son of K-Sun Corp. president Michael Kasun, who founded the company in 1978 in Stillwater, Minn. The company moved to Somerset, Wis. in 1997.
"Andrew’s had many valuable experiences that will be a great asset to K-Sun and will help the company continue to thrive," said Michael Kasun. "I’m very pleased that he has returned to this area to join the company and our family of distributors. In his capacity as Distribution Manager, he will also work in distributor training and education and to develop programs keeping relationships with our distributors strong."
