Overview
The MaxiSoft® Pipe Marking Solution is the most complete and professional marking system for pipes, conduit, utility cables, valves, hoses and tubes. PipeMarker V2 allows you to choose from over 500 pre-formatted markers or create custom markers by combining text, warning headers, serialization numbers, flow arrows and more. Markers print using the K-Sun 9200XXL Thermal Transfer Printer and PolyDurable® Supplies with chemically matched resin printing ribbon. Markers are self-adhesive and aggressively adhere to a wide range of surfaces indoors and outside. With PipeMarker V2, the K-Sun 9200XXL Thermal Transfer Printer and PolyDurable® Printing Supplies, you have the most flexible and powerful in-house pipe marking solution.
STEP 1: MARKER LAYOUT / SOFTWARE
MaxiSoft® PipeMarker
V2 Software works as both a resource and a formatting tool for making the
exact pipe, valve, conduit and assorted utility markers that fit your needs.
In the software are over 500 pre-defined markers that meet ANSI, OSHA, NFPA,
ISO, CGA, and IIAR Standards. Pre-formatted markers are grouped according
to where they're used for easy retrieval.
Customizing markers
Nearly any marker you need can be made using MaxiSoft® PipeMarker V2
Software. Add text, phone numbers, warning headers, pictographs, flow arrows,
serialization numbers and more with a click of the mouse.
STEP 2: PRINTING MARKERS / MEDIA
9200XXL Thermal
Transfer Printer: This high speed thermal transfer printer
is the most effective and easiest way to produce high-quality, durable markers.
The PipeMarker V2 Software does print to standard ink jet and laser
printers, however the length and durability of markers printed on office
printers is limited. At print speeds up to 2 inches per second, 200 dpi print
quality, the 9200XXL can produce batches of markers or just
a few in moments.
PolyDurable® Printing Materials: Markers made with the 9200XXL Thermal Transfer Printer are printed on PolyDurable® base material that is backed with a specially formulated adhesive specifically for adhesion to pipe and other industrial type surfaces. PolyDurable® material comes in over 10 colors that will not fade in UV light and keeps its opacity in nearly all situations. ANSI specified colors are color matched in the PolyDurable® material for easy compliance. Markers printed on PolyDurable® material don't need any extra overlamination for harsh indoor or outdoor use.
